Mark is my 31 year old brother. He is exactly 12 years younger than me as we share the same birthday. He just recently graduated from law school at BYU and is now practicing law in Las Vegas. He and his wife Emily recently celebrated the first birthday of their daughter Kelly Nicole Mark is the tallest of my siblings, standing just over 6 feet tall. He usually shows us up in our family basketball get togethers. His legs are still young and his quickness and strength make the rest of look sad. Mark was an even better football player. I once attended a Lake Oswego High football game where Mark had three interceptions and ran two of them back for touchdowns. His senior year in high school his team reached the quarter finals at state before being beaten by South Salem. Mark also ran his first marathon a couple of years ago with my sister Diana and I. Mark squeezed in a few short runs between law school studies and still managed to finish at around 3:42. Most amazingly, he ran the entire distance in an old pair of worn out shoes. |
