Jon lives in Snoqualmie, WA and currently works as a finance specialist in Tacoma. Last year he worked for Keybank in Seattle. Jon and I are old high school friends and basketball teammates at Lake Oswego. Jon has lived all over the country and recently he prided himself on having never lived in the same city for longer that two years. A couple of years ago he found Julie and decided to settle down. Just last year he also became a dad. Jon moved from Arizona to Oregon during his sophmore year of high school . We played high school basketball together. If you ever meet Jon he will surely tell you about his big game against Benson Tech and A.C. Green. Jon went head to head with A.C. and scored 24 big points that day. He led the mighty Lakers to victory. Not sure why A.C. ended up in the NBA instead of Jon. Jon went on to play at Clackamas Community college and then ended up at Oregon State when he decided education needed some priority. Jon is also responsible for my two broken noses. Sonny Long, our high school coach, came down hard on Jon in practice one day for his weak pivots. Next time Jon went to pivot, he swung his elbows like a madmen and caught me straight in the face. Jon was known to do anything to get in good with coach Long. If you ever meet Jon, you also need to ask him to show you the nice tattoos on his ankle. My daughter Jamie is mesmerized by the little Geckos Jon sports in the summertime. |
